PACKAGING ENGINEER
We are searching for an experienced packaging engineer for a food industry company located in Pitesti, Arges county.

Responsabilities
- Ensures compliance with work instructions regarding the packaging process and proposes updates to the instructions for improvement;
- Reports any irregularities regarding non-compliance with packaging instructions to the direct supervisor;
- Participates in the development of packaging methods for new and/or modified products;
- Ensures product quality by selecting the most suitable types of packaging and packaging methods;
- Conducts technical studies on materials subjected to testing;
- Checks the expiration date of all products (new/existing);
- Prepares product monitoring reports;
- Keeps technical information related to different types of packaging up to date, constantly ensuring its accuracy;
- Analyses material consumption compared to standard consumption and reports identified differences to the direct supervisor;
- Identifies the causes of discrepancies between actual material consumption and standard consumption, proposing solutions to resolve identified issues;
Skills/Competencies
- Technical Bachelor’s degree;
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite – Excel, Word;
- Previous experience with packaging processes – an advantage;
- Advanced level of English;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Problem-solving oriented;
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
