BUYER – INDIRECT MATERIALS
We are looking for an buyer – indirect materials with experience in an industrial environment, for a company operating in the food industry located in Pitești, Argeș County.

Responsabilities
- Identifies and procures spare parts in line with internal requirements (maintenance, production, operations);
- Works closely with Maintenance, Production, Engineering, Logistics, and Finance departments;
- Develops and implements sourcing strategies for assigned categories in orderr to optimize costs and ensure supply continuity;
- Conducts supplier selection and evaluation processes and requests quotations;
- Identifies and qualifies new suppliers to expand and strengthen the supplier base;
- Builds and maintains strong relationships with suppliers;
- Negotiates prices, contractual terms, delivery conditions, and service levels;
- Manages procurement contracts, ensuring compliance with internal policies and legal requirements;
- Oversees contract renewal and renegotiation processes;
- Continuously identifies cost-saving opportunities through negotiation, strategic sourcing, and alternative supply solutions;
- Analyzes Total Cost of Ownership (TCO): price, transport, lead time, risks, availability;
- Monitors market trends and price fluctuations for materials and spare parts within risk and supply continuity categories;
- Develops and implements contingency plans for critical materials;
- Monitors supplier performance;
Skills/Competencies
- Bachelor’s degree;
- 3–5 years of prior experience in a similar role within an industrial environment;
- Strong understanding of procurement processes and supply chain management;
- Excel – advanced level;
- ERP – SAP;
- English – advanced level;
- Excellent negotiation and decision-making skills.
